INTERNATIONAL FOOTWEAR DESIGN COMPETITION
"SULLE ORME DEL CUOIO"
NOTICE OF COMPETITION
13th EDITION
Stated in advance that sole leather is mainly employed in the shoe and that the first section of competition is reserved to the soles, but since it may be use in other fields it is foreseen this second section of competition with the following theme:
SOLE LEATHER IN ALL KINDS OF ACCESSORIES
A) THEME
The theme is free.
B) COMPETITION RULES
1) The competition is open to young designers max. 35 years old
2) The participation requires to make a prototype of additional article of every kind. The article must be realized with sole leather.
3) Every participant can submit only 1 (one) prototype.
4) To make the prototype every participant will receive a kit of materials that may be used as they are or transformed.
5) Being necessary other materials to realize the prototype they are allowed. The participant will obtain personally these materials.
C) APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND ENROLLEMENT FORMALITIES
Wanting to take part in this second section of competition and to receive the kit of materials it is requested to submit application taking out the special form (.DOC  ) available on Consortium web site www.verocuoio.it and to send it in the following ways:

- by internet, at the aforesaid web site in the page "competition/on-line application

D) SUBMISSION OF PROTOTYPES
Prototypes must arrive to Consortium address 30th October 2007.
E) SELECTION PROCEDURE AND PRIZES
The selection will be made by a Panel of Judges that will assign the following prizes to its unauditable decision:
1st placed

Euro 1000,00 (one thousand/00) |
2nd placed
|
Euro 500,00 (five hundred/00) |
All the participants shall be informed about the selection results. Cash prizes may be claimed in person by winners or sent to them and if there are the conditions they are liable to deduction of State dues.

2) The prototypes submitted to competition will not be returned and will become the property of Consortium who reserve himself the right of publishing and promoting them in every form and by every mean without any objection or request being made by the participants.
